Full Gospel Assembly of God Children’s Ministry

Our children are one of God’s greatest gifts that he gave to us. We at Full Gospel strive to keep our children Safe, Engaged, Compassionate, and Devoted. We encourage parents to engage with their children’s upbringing and encourage children to seek after a relationship with God.
Luke 2:52- 52 And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.
Jesus Grew Mental (Wisdom), Physically (Stature), Spiritually (Favor with God) , and Socially (Favor with Man)
These 4 aspects of growth is what we point all of our curriculum toward and encourage the children to grow.

Timothy 3:14-15
14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it,
15 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
We Believe that children learn best through hands on interaction. This is seen in how we are structured. Games, Bible Reading, Video skits, and Lessons are all structures to get the children involved in the learn aspect of the lesson.

Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
We Believe the Bible is the greatest tool to train up our children. We use stories and verses to teach the lessons the Bible has for us to learn.

We try to let the Bible speak for itself, not interpreting it toward a preconceived idea we have.

2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.
We Believe that Family is one of the greatest tools that God uses to raise up his children. Because of this we desire to have all parents involved with Ministering to Children. We will give weekly homework meant to be done as a family.

Deuteronomy 11:19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
